INTRO

 Gordon Oben known by the stage name G-spark is an African Lyricist MC/Hip Hop artist based in Bangkok, Thailand.  Having completed a Bachelor degree in Cameroon, a Diploma in Criminology from Sheffield University and a Business administration degree in Bangkok; G-spark  decided to establish himself in Thailand. Hard work, dedication and creative lyrics have helped pave a road that led him to fame. He is a well known Mc  in Thailand and other parts in South East Asia. Currently signed by Sushiraw Records owned by the legendary Kaysha. G Spark won the award of best MC in 2014 at the African Achievement Awards; Best music video in 2015.

His rapid ascend started half a decade ago when he was spotted by German Hip Hop producer Dj Slick and his group Gorillaz On Haze at the Phuket Music festival. A sudden collaboration gave birth to his first single ‘Diary of Soulja’ that was an anthem to many radio station in Thailand. The track peaked number 1 in the charts his home country Cameroon for 3 months. The single got the attention of several DJs/producers and it was constantly played on KISS FM Melbourne, on Gove FM radio in the Northern Australia. Invigorated by the recognition and the attention that his music was getting, G Spark went on performing at luxurious fashion TV functions, clubs and MC at some eminent private events. His recent Europe tour is certainly a confirmation of his growing fame and dedicated work ethic.

 

G Sparks has held residencies as MC in some of the famous clubs in Asia (China, Korea, Cambodia, Vietnam, Malaysia , Thailand). He has opened and  shared the stage with many notable Djs and internationally artists such as: Sean Kingston,Wyclef Jean, Nelly, ja rule, DJ Scratch, DJ CG, DJ Puffy, DJ Janasty, Snoop Dogg, Kurupt, Mims, Dj Scratch, Dj Angelo, Dj Lead, DaboyWay from Thaitanium, Dj Cut Killer, Booba, Charly Templar, Dj Daddy K to name a few...
